Balance Fitness and Nutrition is owned and operated by Jenny Askew. Jenny is a registered and licensed dietitian. She holds a Masters of Science in Nutrition from Georgia State University, and a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology (the study of movement) from James Madison University. Additionally, Jenny is an American College of Sports Medicine credentialed Health/Fitness Specialist. Jenny has over five years of combined experience working as a personal trainer and in the health and wellness industry.

As a registered dietitian, Jenny is regarded as a nutrition expert, and the American College of Sports Medicine credentials are the gold standard in fitness industry certifications. Who better to help you achieve your health and wellness goals? Jenny has lived in the Atlanta area for five years. When she is not working, you can find her in her garden, doing yoga, running, or spending time with her friends, husband, and dog.

  • One 90 minute consultation
  • Seven follow up sessions

Learn what to eat and how to eat to finally lose weight! The intensity of this program will ensure your personal success. Participants of this program will meet with a registered dietitian on a weekly basis for eight weeks. These weekly one on one sessions will provide accountability, support, and the help and encouragement you need to achieve a healthier you.

MIND BODY LIFE FOOD SENSITIVITY TESTING

Package includes:

  • One 90 minute consultation
  • Five follow up sessions

If you suffer from an inflammatory condition, such as irritable bowel syndrome, chronic migraines, fibromyalgia, sinusitis, or arthritis and can’t seem to find relief from your symptoms, you should be tested for food sensitivities.

90 minute initial consultation

• Review of lifestyle and medical history
• Review of current eating habits
• Information on food sensitivity testing and dietary protocol

Five 60 minute nutrition counseling sessions
• Identify foods that are causing inflammation in your body (as determined by bloodwork analysis)
• Receive guidance implementing the LEAP dietary protocol for food sensitivities
